How do to change pop music in 2008? Arm your self with a fleet of ice cream trucks, an inclusive philosophy, tough aesthetic fanaticism and a Sworovski studded megaphone. Hailing from LA & New York HeartsRevolution are a new type of band, one that is tailor made for the 21st century.
Declaring themselves as part of their HeartsChallenger lifestyle brand they travel in their globally distributed ice cream trucks, handing out rare sweets, designer toys and limited edition vinyl to their wide eyed followers.
The "Switchblade EP" is released on Moross' boutique imprint, Isomorph Records. Limited to 500 hand numbered copies, the collectable white-pink vinyl 10" in encased in a laser foiled sleeve with a neon glow inner print. HeartsChallenger and Kate Moross have collided to bring you carefully crafted collaborative t-shirts, holographic stickers, and much more. All of which is available at every HeartsRevolution show.
A-sides 'Switchblade' and 'Wolves and Libertines' are crunching tech-punk anthems, swapping standard electro snobbery for a positive dogma. B-side 'Digital Suicide' meanwhile show a blissful release, as band leader Lo expounds the glories of Sonic Youth and 80's Thrash heroes Suicidal Tendencies."
